Fences, Decks & Patios in Yorktown · DeWitt County
Outdoor Living Built For Yorktown
Yorktown is a quiet, tight-knit town — Western Days, the historical museum, a main street where people still wave. Properties tend to run larger than in Victoria, so fencing projects here are often a mix: privacy fence around the house, then field fence or barbed wire running back to the property line.
The homes are largely mid-century brick ranch houses and older frame homes, both of which benefit from the same thing — a covered patio or deck that makes the back of the house livable from spring through fall. Pergolas and outdoor kitchens are steadily more common as folks decide they would rather host at home than drive into town.
Because Yorktown gets its share of high wind coming across open ground, we spec patio covers and pergolas with heavier posts and proper bracing. It costs a little more up front and saves the whole structure later.
About 35 minutes west of Victoria — call (361) 652-6291 and we will come take a look.
